Courtney & Keith
October 13, 2018
"Keith proposed to me on December 23, 2017 at Childress Vineyards. Since it was right before Christmas, I traveled to Winston-Salem to be with my family over the holiday. My family tricked me into going to the winery for lunch and to view all the Christmas decorations. Little did I know Keith was actually in Winston-Salem, as well, getting ready to propose. He had set up a table for two in the wine cellar room of the winery, with candles, fruit and cheese, and of course, wine. It was so beautiful, sweet, and perfect."
"Our wedding day was beautiful. We had a hurricane come through the Thursday before our wedding. Needless to say, we were panicking the whole week because our venue didnít really have an inside option. Friday was also a horrible, windy, and rainy day. However, Saturday we didnít have a cloud in the sky! It was a miracle. It was the prettiest 65 degree Fall day! Our ceremony and reception were at the venue, but in two separate locations. Our ceremony was by a cross under a huge white arbor and our reception was under a beautiful clear tent with chandeliers and hanging lights. We really couldnít have dreamed of anything more perfect; we feel extremely lucky.
"The most unique elements about our wedding were the details. We spent a lot of time on personalizing our wedding. My favorite thing was that we built a huge daybed swing as our guestbook for people to sign, which we will put on our back porch to remember our special day forever." ~ Courtney
