Charlotte & Trent
March 30, 2019
"Trent was living in WA and I was living in NC. In August of 2016, we attended a church youth group weekend in Watersmeet, Michigan where we met. We had long distance communication for one year, after which he came to visit me in NC. He asked me to be his girlfriend on a Myrtle Beach trip with my family."
"In July of 2018, after attending my brother's wedding in MN, we were traveling to WA and stopped at the Painted Canyons in ND. After taking in the beautiful views, Trent said he needed to go get his jacket from the car. He really was going get the ring. When he came back, we went to a more private area. We both said "I love you" to each other. He then went behind me, got on one knee, and when I turned around, he asked me to marry him. I responded with happy tears and a big YES!
"Our wedding colors included lavender because that is my favorite color, and charcoal gray. The day was beautiful and went smoothly from start to finish. I had all my bridesmaids with me getting ready in the morning. It was relaxing and stress-free. Our wedding was at 4 pm with only immediate family, and afterwards, our reception took place at 6 pm with family and special friends with a total of 80 people. This was the most unique element of our wedding, small and intimate. We wouldn't change anything about our special day." ~ Charlotte
