“Wow. Where to start! First off, it wasn’t supposed to snow. On Friday afternoon, right before our rehearsal, the snow starting falling heavily. This was a DREAM COME TRUE for me. Thankfully, the temperature was just warm enough for the roads to be mostly clear, not preventing anyone from coming!
The snow stopped falling just before the beginning of the ceremony which made for amazing ‘first look’ pictures. One of the most fun parts for me was walking down to my groom from the top of the staircase. I loved being able to see all my guests from the top while watching my groom from afar. The ceremony was done by my Uncle Justin, who told Matt and I that we would make a good couple when we were 16 years old. He called it years ago!
We chose dusty blue with punches of deep red, pale pink and lots of greenery for our Winter Wonderland wedding. The dusty blue gave us the wintery/icy feel, while the red brought out a little Christmas.
Everyone had so much fun and the snow made for the best pictures and best feeling. Everyone loves a good snow day and then to have a wedding?! The best.” ~ Sydney
