“Our wedding was a Persian and southern American wedding mix and was held at Weir Jordan House. We used a Persian wedding table called Sofreh Aghd where legal marriage and ceremony traditions are exchanged. ‘Sofreh’ means ‘spread’ and ‘aghd’ means ‘ceremony’. There are many symbolic items that make up the sofreh aghd spread, all that represent an element of the couple’s new life and marriage together. We were very happy with how our day turned out.” — Drew
