After two years of dating and at Ashley’s favorite restaurant, The Melting Pot, Frankie proposed. She tearfully, and joyfully, accepted and soon after, their families joined them for dessert and champagne.
Ashley and Frankie wanted a simple, yet elegant, wedding and incorporated violet, blush, cream and champagne gold into their color scheme. They had their ceremony at the historic Annie Merner Pfeiffer Chapel at Bennett College, followed by their reception at Greensboro Country Club.
Some of the most unique elements of their wedding included an amazing candle garden that greeted guests as they entered the club, a beautiful monogram on the ballroom floor, up lighting, draping and beautiful floral arrangements throughout.
Complimenting the violet colored bridesmaids’ dresses, Ashley chose a mix of flowers, including hydrangeas, roses and greenery, with a few calla lilies incorporated into the bouquets.
“Although there were many memorable moments during the wedding, the one that seems to stand out the most for me would be when my husband and I were exiting Greensboro Country Club surrounded by our friends and family with sparklers. It was so beautiful! I would not change a thing about my wedding day. It was perfect!” Ashley concluded.
