Our wedding ended up being a lot different than we had imagined. Our original wedding date was April 17th at Grandover Resort. Our families from India and South Korea were making plans to attend. In March, with COVID stay at home orders and social distancing measures, we made the difficult decision to postpone our 300+ attendee wedding. We were considering alternate dates in the fall and winter, but there was so much uncertainty that we decided to go ahead and get married. On May 5th, we went to the Forsyth county courthouse and got married with my parents as witnesses. Later that day, we had an intimate Hindu ceremony while our families watched through Zoom. We plan on celebrating with our family and friends with a large reception when restrictions are lifted. ~ Charita
