Kayla & Eliot
Kayla and Eliot met when they were young children. She was seven and he was nine and they would ride bikes and rollerblade together as their older siblings played basketball. They began dating at ages 14 and 16 and their friendship grew into more.
In 2013, the couple moved in together and had bought all new furniture. Kayla was on her way home from work, excited to see their house finally with some furniture in it, only to discover when she opened the door the house was filled with candles and flowers... and a proposal!
Having grown up riding horses, and wearing boots at a young age, Kayla knew she wanted a country rustic themed wedding, incorporating the colors navy and yellow. She and Eliot selected to host their outdoor ceremony at Autumn Creek Vineyards, with their reception to follow in the vineyard’s pavilion.
One of Kayla’s most favorite elements of their wedding was their dessert table. She didn’t want one extravagant cake and instead, opted for a variety of desserts for people to enjoy, including nine different pies, three different cakes, and whoopie and mini pies.
With the memories captured by Megan Travis Photography, Kayla said she wouldn’t change a thing about their wedding. “It was the most beautiful day spent with wonderful people celebrating me and the love of my life. It was a day filled with laughter, music and wine!”
